Cartridge Heaters are process heaters and mostly used inside a mold. With proper selection of watt density, material and suitability Cartridge heaters can attain high temperatures which are used to heat various solids & liquids. Cartridge heaters can also be embedded with thermocouples to control temperatures to be more accurate & precise. Lead wires from the heater can be connected to the control panels.
Cartridge heaters used as a conductive source for heating solid metallic plates, blocks and dies or as a convective heat source for use in a variety of liquids and gases. Cartridge heaters can be used in a vacuum atmosphere with proper design guidelines.
